1. How has your experience here been different from any initial apprehensions you may have had?
“I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about confiding in another person, but I needed to hear a different perspective and now feel very much at ease.
“A feeling of openness, comfort and acceptance from the moment you walk in.
“After briefly attending sessions at the Center for Optimum Living, the stigmas and stereotypes of therapy were quickly erased. My time there is often a highlight of my busy week, a respite to rejuvenate and re-center my life within an often chaotic world.
“My experience is far more nurturing mentally than I thought it could be.
“My initial apprehension was my doubt that anyone outside my marriage would be able to understand what was happening inside my marriage and be in a position to help. That apprehension was erased very quickly. Not seeking Dr. Benanti’s help would have been a huge mistake.

“Dr. Benanti has an ease and humor that makes me feel I’m with an equal who happens to be more educated, experienced and understanding of this life than I am. His wisdom runs deep and stays with me as I go through my day.
“What distinguishes my experience at the Center from other experiences I have had can best be told by the simple fact that I now truly look forward to my visits. They are a time of retreat from everything else and a time of reflection on what really matters.
“My experience with Dr. B. has helped me more that any other experience I’ve had with therapy elsewhere.
“Other places do not come close to the quality of information you receive from the Center for Optimum Living. The staff’s depth of knowledge is obvious and they know how and when to use it.

“Very effective in a warm and caring way. Very patient and understanding, gentle manner.
“Dr. Benanti is calm and easy going but knows how to cut to the core of the issue rather than spending time on the peripheral problems. He never places blame but knows how to ask the questions that make you realize how your actions/words may not have been appropriate.
“I love Dr. Benanti’s stories and examples. They make it easy to understand and apply what I’m learning about myself.
“Extremely professional, yet at the same time, informal and relaxed. I can be pretty stubborn and sometimes I’m surprised that I find myself changing … almost like the therapy is sneaking in!
“The warmth and informality of the counseling has really helped in making the conversations and learning productive. The counseling is such that I never leave a visit without having learned more about myself, understanding better what is going on around me regarding the issues, and receiving practical advice in how to deal with them.

“Stronger sense of self and awareness of my behaviors/choices both good and bad for me. Learning to trust my inner voice and express myself.
“I am less burdened, anxious and emotionally upset by situations now. I also feel more emotionally centered and grounded. I am more adventurous and enjoy my life much more. Stress is much less.
“Warm, open and non-judgmental support.

“I am grateful for all Dr. B. has taught me. His loving nature and walking beside me in tender loving care is much appreciated. Many areas of my life are much better then they were before.
“Without hesitation, I attribute much of the happiness in my life directly to my experiences with the Center for Optimum Living.
“The process of getting through all my messed up situations has sometimes been long and grueling, but well worth it. A sense of calmness and self-awareness that was either completely absent or rarely present when I first walked in this office is now with me more often then not.
“The Center for Optimum Living is a very special place. From the minute you walk in to the reception area, you are immediately calmed by the peaceful music, the sounds of running water from a fountain. The staff is very professional, well-educated, sensitive and caring. They make you feel comfortable discussing whatever is on your mind. I would highly recommend the Center to anyone.
